The location is genuinely close to most places, and the staff were nice. Still, it was an average stay without anything especially memorable. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, though they weren’t terrible. Checkout time felt tight and strictly enforced. Food had to be brought in or requested, and tea was available to order only at certain times. I wasn’t satisfied with the price, since I could find a better deal for the same amount.
This works as a place to rest between visits to Kataragama Temple. It’s conveniently located for pilgrims, and the rooms are reasonably priced. They’re clean and do the job, though not the best rooms, and I wouldn’t choose it for a stay where I planned to spend lots of time at the property. The food wasn’t very good and was the same each day. It also didn’t seem like many people stayed here.
The whole stay was a nightmare and absolutely not worth the price. There was no food available, and the prices shown on the site were fake. I strongly recommend fellow travelers avoid this rest house. It was one of the worst places we’ve stayed.
The rooms were clean and worth the price. There was also plenty of space in the car park.
The room was in average condition and had no A.C. The place itself was very peaceful.
