The wildlife drives were the standout for me. We saw so many animals, including leopards, and our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, sharing interesting details about the wildlife and environment. The safaris were amazing, and the little visitors in the garden added to the feeling of being close to nature. The team welcomed us warmly and organized everything with care, so the experience felt easy and special. The food was excellent, with a choice available, and the rooms were beautifully designed and very comfortable. The pool was perfect for relaxing afterward. Leopard Safari gave me an authentic and immersive stay in Sri Lanka that went beyond what I expected.

Seeing a leopard and then a sloth bear in the last 15 minutes of our final game drive was an incredible finish to the trip. The drives were fascinating, with our naturalist pointing out and explaining the wildlife, and the driver was great too. We enjoyed having tea out in the park before returning to camp for a really nice breakfast. We spent three nights at Leopard Safaris. The manager and staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent. Meals were enjoyable, especially sharing them with the other guests and chatting about our different game drives.

What stood out most was the team’s genuine care for wildlife and conservation, along with the property’s eco-friendly approach. Staff were warm and attentive, and their passion added a lot to the safari experience. The property was exceptionally clean, which made everything comfortable and relaxing. Meals were delicious, with good variety and quality throughout. Leopard Safaris Yala exceeded our expectations a few days ago, offering a memorable stay near Yala National Park that felt connected to nature. Highly recommended.

The people were great, and the safaris were well run. We liked the food, especially the surprise celebratory SL New Year breakfast, and the accommodation was good. But at almost $1.2kUS per night including taxes, we expected this to be the special part of our holiday. It’s all inclusive, yet at that price every part needs to be world class, not just good. Breakfast in particular needs work, the hot water systems should be checked, service could be less intrusive instead of hovering around guests, and the mini bars need restocking every day. We wish the team well and hope they can sort out those details.

Bala runs the place with real Lankan hospitality and efficiency, and the meals were good. The tents were thoughtfully planned, tastefully designed, and better equipped than we expected. Our driver and safari guide were dedicated to giving us a great experience. We had a delightful stay and would highly recommend the place.
