The Den at Yala

We were a group of Irish visitors, and this place was stunning. The hosts were lovely, the food tasted great, and the accommodation was really good quality. They were so kind that they even brought our jumper to Colombo. What an incredible stay, I can't recommend it enough. Thanks again.

The grounds were peaceful, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Even the three dogs, who serve as security guards, were sweet and lovely. Gabriel and Sanjana made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to take us to the local temple and arrange an excellent safari. They and their wonderful staff also made us far too much delicious food. I hope we can come back one day.

The Den was a peaceful place to unwind and feel revived. The friendly, gorgeous dogs have even been vaccinated against rabies. The caretaker and his family were kind and welcoming, and the food was exceptional. Gabriel knows his stuff and was a great host. From the start of our stay right through to the end, the staff were exceptional. I'd have no hesitation recommending The Den as somewhere to stay.

The safari Gabriel arranged was one of the highlights of our trip, and the beautiful room and grounds made the stay even better. The whole team went above and beyond. Dinner was one of the best meals of our trip, maybe the best, and they even went into town to surprise us with a honeymoon cake. We'll stay much longer next time we're in Sri Lanka. Thanks again!
