Fresh ingredients, generous portions and food that was full of flavor and cooked just right. Everything looked lovely on the plate, too. One of the best meals I’ve had, highly recommended.

Tharindu at breakfast at the Waterfront made us feel at ease and served us kindly, efficiently and with a big smile. Hirushan prepared our omelettes each morning, also smiling and clearly keen to make us feel good. The reception girls were always friendly and cheerful, and every team deserves thanks, from housekeeping and the bar staff to the people working behind the scenes. Jude, the Residence Manager, went out of his way to help us. His professionalism, attention and willingness to assist made a real difference. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for at The South Beach Hotel, and it truly felt like home. Today is our last full day and night, and we’re leaving with wonderful memories. We enjoyed every moment and highly recommend The South Beach Hotel to anyone seeking a warm, friendly and relaxing stay in Ahangama.

Mr. Sajith deserves a huge thank you. We asked him to arrange the South Beach area for our registration formalities, and he went above and beyond. He found a decorator and personally managed the arrangements so the day flowed smoothly. He helped make our wedding truly memorable. We held our wedding at The South Lake and couldn’t be happier with the venue’s flexibility. Unlike other hotels, we could choose a lakeside setting, a beachside setting or both. We used both, which made the wedding unique. The menu had so many varieties to choose from and was just right. Many guests specifically told us how delicious everything was.

Naveen took us on a boat tour to the three small islands near the resort. He was friendly, knowledgeable and great company. The reception team were warm and welcoming, and Sajith, the resident manager, was especially kind and caring. He was willing to help with anything we needed. We had a very pleasant stay at The South Lake. The facilities were lovely, the staff were lovely, and we’d absolutely recommend it.
