Coco Villa Peach Tree

On our first stay, from 27-29 April 2025, we arrived around 3:00 AM. Ms. Kamudini at the front desk was courteous and tried to help us quickly, but the room was in poor shape. The bedding looked unclean, and there was a humongous cockroach in the toilet. No insect spray was available. The toilet light was extremely dim, and toilet paper and towels were missing until we asked the following morning. We had stayed here in 2019, when the property was well maintained and had satisfactory amenities and service. Based on that good experience, we made a mistake by booking again for our arrival and departure in April-May 2025, two nights from 27-29 April and one night from 9-10 May. For the second stay, 9-10 May 2025, we reached the property around 3:00 PM, but the room hadn't been cleaned or made ready, so we had to wait. They then gave us a different room, saying our previous room was already booked. We appreciated the welcome drink, coconut juice, but the room was in even worse condition. Just one bulb worked, the rest of the room lights were out, and the toilet light didn't work either. We told Ms. Kamudini, but she showed no interest in fixing it. It got seriously inconvenient as daylight faded. Our flight was at 3:00 AM, and we meant to shower an hour before leaving for the airport. Instead, because there was so little light, we had to shower early at around 6:00 PM using our cellphone phone lights. There were visible spider webs in the shower area, suggesting it hadn't been cleaned for some time, and an open gap in the shower area, as documented in photos. Across both visits, cleanliness, maintenance, lighting and basic amenities fell short. The property has deteriorated significantly and no longer meets basic hospitality standards. Other airport area places offer better facilities at similar or slightly higher rates, so we wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to other travelers.
