Neem Tree House

We had a lovely two-night stay, and the freshly prepared dinner and breakfast were excellent and good value. The property is beautiful, right by a lake with lots of wildlife and crocodiles. Yala is close by, and we were lucky enough to spot leopards on safari. Our host Anousha and her family, including their two lovely children, were so friendly and did everything they could for us. Thanks for making the stay memorable. Highly recommended.

We ate five meals at Neem Tree House, and every one was 10/10. The home-cooked Sri Lankan food was the best we’ve had. Anousha and her family treated us like royalty and thought of every little detail. The house is beautifully styled, and the pool and outdoor areas are lovely, especially the treehouse where you can watch crocodiles. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Yala National Park, and Anousha arranged a great jeep tour with pickups from the house, one in the afternoon and another at sunrise the next day. We’d love to return next year.

Watching the sunrise from there was wonderful, especially since I love seeing it from different places. Even though it’s by the roadside, we didn’t hear any noise. It was so peaceful. The host and his crew were kind and welcoming. Thanks for such calm, beautiful, colourful days.

We spent three lovely nights here, a few kilometres from Yala National Park. The house is tastefully furnished and well equipped, with modern conveniences, king-size beds, and AC in every room. Watching the sunset over the lake from the lawn or beside the pool was a memorable part of our stay. The service was excellent, especially from Ranjit, who was in charge. He handled every request courteously and efficiently. I highly recommend Neem Tree House, and we’ll stay here again on our next Yala visit.
