The location is what we fell in love with. This place sits by the Kirindi river estuary, beside a pristine beach and a huge, tall rock outcrop. You can stroll along the shore, watch traditional.fishermen in the lagoon, catch sunrise and sunset views from the top of the rock, and look at the stars at night. The whole property is shaded by coconut trees. We stayed in the mainhouse, an old, modest village home made comfortable with a few thoughtful touches. It has two rooms with large, comfortable double beds, air conditioning, two big clean modern bathrooms, and a fridge. There are also two newer units in a rustic, minimalist style. The dining spot is in a separate, charming open wooden cabin. The caretaker was warm, respectful, friendly, and had an authentic Sri Lankan village manner. The service was beyond excellent. A brilliant spot for beach and nature lovers or anyone after a peaceful getaway. We completely fell for it. ❤️

Right on the beach, and the rooms have comfortable beds, air conditioning, and their own bathrooms. They're basic, but have what you need. The people were lovely and always ready to help. Breakfast and dinner were good, served whenever you wanted. When we came back after being out for the day, they had juice for us.

It's a quiet, beautiful place away from the usual tourist routes, with lovely nature and great views. The room is basic but has all the essentials, and the price was very reasonable. The staff looked after everything well, and we really enjoyed the food and juices. Our host was attentive and easy to communicate with, and arranged a great driver for our Yala safari. We were very happy with our stay.

This is simple accommodation in a secluded spot. The host was kind and helpful, and the owner went out of their way to share local information and book tours. Having a driver is probably best.

For the price, the service, room, and food were very good. Breakfast was tasty, and the rooms had air conditioning, hot water, a fan, a water cooler, and a refrigerator. The outdoor area with its palms was lovely, and the beach is very close. There's also a restaurant with a large pool about 10-15 minutes from the rooms.
