Rock Wild Yala

The manager was so lovely and happy to do anything for us. The rooms were clean and really nice, and the pool was refreshing. If they offer to cook dinner, go for it, ours was fresh, authentic Sri Lankan food and so delicious. We loved our stay and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Yala.

The staff were so attentive and kind, and really went above and beyond. I mentioned that it was my friend’s birthday while we were there, and they arranged balloons, a special dinner and even a cake. We had an amazing stay at rock wild, and I’d highly recommend it.

The manager couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful, and arranged two safaris for us. We stayed three nights and would easily have stayed longer if we’d had the time. It’s a little slice of heaven. This stunning heritage hotel is just outside Yala national park. The rooms are beautifully equipped with fabulous views, and the pool was perfect for a dip after safari. Thanks for having us!

The meals were a highlight, all thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Cook Sampath and Chef Nuwan did a wonderful job, and the dining service was top-notch. The whole staff was friendly, attentive and welcoming. Mr. Attanayake, the manager, made sure everything was well coordinated, with lots of help from Kawshan. Before our stay, Mr. Nuwan, the reservation owner, gave us clear information and guidance that made booking easy. The villa is modern, spacious, private and exceptionally clean, with all the facilities we needed. It’s beautifully maintained and close to both the Yala National Park entrance and scenic Kirinda Beach. I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful, luxurious getaway near Yala, and we’ll definitely be back.
