The Rockwall Boutique Hotel

The staff were the best part for us. The chef and serving team were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the chef’s personal warmth made us feel at home. The food was tasty and well prepared, even though the menu was limited and there was no lunch or dinner buffet. We stayed two nights at The Rockwall Boutique Hotel, Induruwa, in a King Suite with a plunge pool. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the pool gave us a nice private touch. It wasn’t heated, though, which would have made it better. The AC was a bit noisy at night, but manageable. Christmas dinner cost over LKR 8,000 per person, which felt expensive compared with places like Shangri-La or Cinnamon City of Dreams, where prices were a little lower and the food selection wider. It was a pleasant, relaxing stay overall, with lovely rooms and excellent service, but pricing and dining options could improve. I’d recommend it for a calm, private getaway.

We liked how peaceful it was, even though the hotel is well away from the main entertainment spots. That suited us. The ocean had strong waves, so we mostly used the pool, though a few guests did go swimming in the sea. Our Deluxe Ocean View room was bright, lovely, and genuinely spacious, with a view we could sit and enjoy for hours. The pool and ocean are only a few steps away, and everything felt convenient. It was easy to switch off from everyday stress here. The restaurant food was tasty and well prepared, and the massages were high quality and deeply relaxing. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, always ready to help. Special thanks to Prasad for such genuine hospitality. We'd happily come back. If you're after a quiet, relaxing stay by the ocean, we highly recommend it.

The meals were a real highlight, full of flavour and beautifully presented. We also enjoyed the clean, lovely pool, which was easy to get to and perfect for a relaxing dip. The Rockwall Boutique Hotel backs straight onto Induruwa beach, so stepping from the property onto the sand felt like having the beach in our backyard. Waking up to the waves was a dream. From check-in onward, the staff were courteous and went out of their way to make our stay feel special. We had an amazing time and would absolutely return. The Rockwall Boutique Hotel is a wonderful choice for a luxurious, relaxing getaway around Bentota.
