Myles and Bart were such friendly, helpful hosts and couldn't do enough for us. We had a fantastic few days. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, the pool was beautifully warm, and the hotel is right on the beach. Our rooms had a rustic style but were really clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, including working AC, a kettle, and a fridge in the villa. This is one of those places you have to visit before you die! Don't miss the dolphin trip. Thanks so much, Myles and Bart. I hope our paths cross again.

We loved the huge beachfront villa, and this resort has plenty of comfort and luxury along with a private beach. The unusual part is the made-to-order menu: you pick what you want, and they prepare it, with no set menu. The staff are really friendly and arranged dolphin watching for us. Highly recommended.

The two-bedroom villa gave us the privacy and peace we wanted, set apart from the other villas. It was beautifully designed with all the amenities, and the crew kept it clean regularly. We didn't find a single thing we needed to ask them to add. Maria from reservations helped put together the perfect honeymoon package for my wife and me. At the resort, Sudesh and his crew took great care of us, with polite, thoughtful service and everything we wanted handled quickly and perfectly. Every dish the chef made was delicious, and I can't choose a favorite. Even the hot chocolate was the best I've ever had. Thank you, Maria, Sudesh, and everyone at Udekki for such a wonderful stay. I hope this wasn't our last visit!

We were exploring Kalpitiya and wanted to see Alankuda beach, so we stopped at this small hotel for lunch. It's in a calm spot beside the beautiful beach, and the hotel itself is lovely. There isn't a separate restaurant. Instead, they serve food in small open huts around the pool, with some right by the beach, which makes for a really nice dining experience. We picked a poolside hut, while the others were occupied. The food was great, especially in that setting. It seemed to be under new ownership, and they were working on new menus when we visited. It's a nice spot if you want to relax. The road there is gravel, and the one shown on Google Maps isn't very good. Go to Norochchole town and take the road from there, which is okay.
