This place doesn’t deserve even one star. My room was small and dark, and cockroaches came out at night. I found them several times, and worried they might get into the bed or my things. There was no toilet paper and the room wasn’t cleaned. The man who cooked breakfast kept telling me the OWNER didn’t pay him a salary and that he was working without pay. One night I came back around 10 pm to find the common door closed and drunk people outside in front of it. The owner and the cook did nothing, just went to their rooms and slept. I didn’t feel safe. The room was dirty, and random local men were often at the villa, sometimes drinking alcohol on the first floor where the guest rooms are. The OWNER also invited family or friends to stay, and there was shouting and drinking at night. I guess they were his family or friends, not guests. The owner often invited men over to drink in the evening or at night, and it felt like a cheap hostel. I had booked a longer stay expecting Wi-Fi and a quiet place at night, the bare minimum, but the owner couldn’t provide either. The Wi-Fi was very slow and often didn’t work. When I complained that I’d paid for the room and needed internet, he told me I could go pay for it myself, then said he only had 40 G for everyone. I had to keep asking the owner about the Wi-Fi. Why should I pay extra for internet when I’d already paid for the room? The location was horrible too. Yes, it’s close to the beach, but the area smelled bad, was dirty and not safe, and felt very local. It was very dark at night, and the owner closed the common door around 9-10 pm, so you had to open it yourself. There was no security. The nearest supermarkets and pharmacy closed very early, and everything nearby was more than a ten-minute walk. I was tired when I arrived and trusted the owner with the cash payment. I didn’t check the money carefully and believe he took more than $147 from me on my first day. I was very upset because I’d trusted him. The money itself wasn’t the point. I told him I didn’t want to stay because people had disrespected and lied to me. I’d booked a long stay because I wanted to enjoy my holiday. When I politely asked for a refund, he said it wasn’t him and didn’t return the money. I tried explaining that I couldn’t stay because of all these problems, but he didn’t care. He refused to refund me, saying he’d already put the money in his bank. Then the owner started construction while I was there. It began at 8:00 am, and he kept going even after I told him I couldn’t sleep. The construction carried on for my whole stay. I told him I hadn’t slept for three days since it began, and he didn’t care. My holiday was ruined. The OWNER is selfish and only thinks about himself. The place was horrible, and I felt like I’d paid for nothing. The owner was always doing construction early in the morning and didn’t care whether I was asleep. He kept wanting to renovate the place. Be careful.

The beach here is wide, clean, and not crowded, with gentle waves that make swimming comfortable. The room opens straight onto the terrace and beach, and the sea usually drowns out some road noise. The rooms are simple but include what you need, like air conditioning and hot water. The host is friendly and responsive, and you can use sun loungers, fins, and masks for free. The kitchen, washing machine, and refrigerator are available for an extra fee. A great spot for a beach holiday.

The ocean is just steps away, and the beach is quiet and empty with clear water. Nearby cliffs are a nice spot to snorkel and see ocean life. The guesthouse itself is clean and well maintained, with everything you need, and the breakfasts are delicious.
