The best place we stayed during our two months in Sri Lanka. You can sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down over the ocean, with no street noise, just the waves. It’s peaceful day and night, and the place is beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The owner was very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. She also brought tasty breakfast and dinner straight to the room at a reasonable price. "Mointain Relax" felt like a seaside paradise and was far better than a one star hotel. I strongly recommend it.

A quiet little place with lovely green surroundings and a great balcony view. The family hosting us were very welcoming, and our room was spacious and clean. Coconuts surf spot is just a five minute barefoot walk away. We’d love to come back to this hidden gem.

We ended up staying longer and only left because it was time to fly home. The host, Shani, was lovely, and we hope to return soon. The room was comfortable, with a little terrace and a kitchenette with a gas burner. It’s tucked away from the main road in a green spot, close to one of our favourite Sri Lankan beaches. When the conditions are right, the wave is uncrowded. There are good food options on the beach and just a short walk away.

We planned on five days and stayed for three weeks. It’s so quiet here, with only birds and waves to hear instead of road traffic. You can walk to Coconut beach without crossing a main road. Some rooms have AC and a kitchen. Shani was kind and brought us anything we asked for with a big smile. We’ll definitely be back.
