I had an amazing stay at The Wave Surf Inn and ended up staying more than 10 days haha. Cocounut beach is 200m or less away, with other lovely beaches nearby. The room was comfortable and had a nice spot to chill, and they rent scooters too. The family is so sweet, and the food is really good. Big shoutout to Monju and Nick, who made me feel at home here in Sri Lanka. I was very happy there. Thank you!!!

The food is tasty and reasonably priced, and the single-room dorms are good value too. The family running the place are so welcoming. When I got sick, they looked after me like I was their own kid.

You can watch the smiling Mum cook from the little window-box kitchen, so I started calling it the “show kitchen.” Her homemade food is delicious, from the kotu and roti to everything else we tried, and it’s cheap. They also have nice rooms to rent.

The meals here are really, really good, and surfing is right there to enjoy. The family are so friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. You feel like one of them.
