The owner was friendly and attentive. When I reported that the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, they arranged a replacement that very evening. There’s a kitchen, so making your own meals may suit longer visits. The guesthouse sits by a lagoon about 5 kilometers from the center of Tanglla. The building has several sections, with four rooms currently available. A restaurant and a deck overlooking the lagoon are planned, though it’s not clear when they’ll be finished. My room was tidy and thoroughly cleaned. The shower had reliable hot water, though drainage was poor and there were some construction issues. There was no air conditioning, but the fan kept things comfortable. The beach is around a 10-minute walk away. Its waves are high, so swimming isn’t ideal, but it’s a quiet place to relax, even if it gets hot. Solo travelers, couples, and families could all enjoy staying here.
