We found this hotel good value for money and would definitely return. It’s close to the beach and has what you need for a relaxing stay. The breakfasts were tasty, with a nice variety, especially the fresh fruit. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable, with regular housekeeping. The staff were friendly, attentive and ready to help, and their warm hospitality came through. We were very satisfied with our stay in Sri Lanka and would recommend it to other travelers.

We came looking for somewhere to recharge after a packed trip around Sri Lanka, and Little pumpkin was just right. The people were amazing, the rooms clean, and the food delicious. It’s so close to the beach that you can hear the waves and ocean from bed. Totally recommend it. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in Sri Lanka.

The mango daiquiri was fantastic, and the drinks were great too. We’d eaten in lots of places around Sri Lanka, but this restaurant really stood out. Our food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. The grilled fish was juicy and cooked just right, and the extra glaze showed how much care went into the finishing touches. Highly recommend!

We came back to this cozy little restaurant every day during our stay in Tangalle. It’s right on the beach, and the people there were always friendly, attentive and funny. We started each day with an elaborate Sri Lankan breakfast and finished with delicious curry, Kotthu or devil fish. Every meal amazed us. We absolutely loved the place ❤️

We loved staying at little Pumpkin Cabanas. The coffee is proper barista style, amazing, and the ice latte is worth trying. Breakfast was fresh and filling, and the owner would come over now and then with some fruit, which was so kind. The food was delicious and the menu had everything we needed. The cabanas were clean and comfortable, right on the beach. Service was unreal. When I needed cash from the city, the owner's son kindly drove me there in his tuk tuk. Beautiful family run cabanas and restaurant. Thank you for having us.
