River Bank Resort

Our engagement ceremony here left us very disappointed, and we can’t recommend the venue for engagements or other special events. The service throughout wasn’t professional enough for an important occasion. The agreed event menu wasn’t served. Instead, we got a wedding menu that we didn’t find satisfactory. The welcome drink was poor, and the iced coffee was so diluted it tasted like water. The registration table backdrop and decorations weren’t what we expected. Some looked unfinished, and leftovers from earlier events hadn’t been properly cleared away. The cake was also very poor quality, below what we’d been promised, and embarrassing to serve to our guests.

We planned to stay two nights and ended up extending to three. It was a comfortable, good stay overall, though I didn’t care for the washrooms, which is why I’m giving four stars. The pool was spotless and well maintained, and you can use it from morning until evening. It sits right beside the river, which is mesmerizing, and the calm, peaceful setting makes it a nice family outing. The rooms were okay and up to standard. Food was a bit expensive, but very tasty. We ordered mixed rice and all loved it. From what I saw, just three people maintain the resort, and they were friendly and helpful, especially the manager.

The owner is a very kind and generous gentleman, and the staff service is great. I even worked here temporarily as a stuart. A beautiful venue for all kinds of celebrations, highly recommended 💯

The hotel’s location was awesome, and the venue was spacious, clean, and well organised with everything set up well. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout the event. It was a fantastic, unforgettable experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful day of their life.
