We stayed for a month and had everything we needed in a spacious place with a lovely interior. The necessary shops are an easy walk away, and Polhena beach is just a five-minute scooter ride. Niranja and Manoj were especially helpful, always giving great service and answering our questions. We’d be glad to come back.

Mahinda made our Christmas stay especially memorable, bringing us tasty, generous breakfasts and fresh juice each morning. He even put up a Christmas tree and festive decorations, and gave us presents. He also connected us with reliable, inexpensive TUK TUK drivers who took us wherever we wanted to go. The rooms were comfortable, with air conditioning and big beds, and the bathrooms and pool were clean. Anchorage Villa is a stylish modern building with quality tropical wood furniture, and it was the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka.
