Really handy for a short stay in Matara. The room was clean and roomy, with a hot shower, and there was a kitchen guests could use. Great location and a friendly owner. :)

A quiet place inside Matara Fort, with easy access to the fort, the bus stand, the beach, and the Nilwala river estuary. The staff were friendly, especially Mr Hemantha.

We arrived late in the evening, but the owner was still very helpful right through the night. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and we had a pleasant one-night stay at the villa. Changing our check-in and check-out times went smoothly, and the owner helped us with our itinerary. A good place for families. Cheers to the uncle who owns it!
