The garden and pool made it so easy to settle into the tropical calm, and the hosts were kind and quick to make sure we had what we needed. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we really felt at home in this beautiful Sri Lankan house. A lovely place for a peaceful getaway.

A short stroll takes you to the beach, while the newly built two-room villa in Mawella feels calm and thoughtfully put together. The interiors are lovely, with a nice mix of modern style and comfort. We had a relaxing stay and would happily recommend this hidden gem.

Shashi made us feel so welcome, always attentive and ready to help with whatever we needed. The fresh, delicious breakfasts were a highlight, and we also enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The newly built two-room villa in Mawella is spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, with everything we needed. Some gorgeous beaches are just a short walk away, and you can rent kayaks to explore the local lakes. We can't wait to return.

The breakfast was amazing, with local produce, and Shashi and Miles were such friendly hosts. The villa and pool were in excellent shape and clearly well maintained. We had a great stay in Sri Lanka and would absolutely recommend it. Thanks for everything!

We used 701 Mawella Villa as a base to visit Hiriketiya Beach, Dikwella Beach, and Tangalle Beach, all an easy drive away. Hummanaya Blow Hole is also incredibly close and well worth seeing. Back at the villa, the fantastic pool was just what we needed to unwind after a day out. Mawella Beach is only steps away, and it's beautiful and quiet. A comfortable, high-end place to stay while exploring Sri Lanka's south coast.
