There’s plenty to do here for different ages, from the pool and kids’ park to fish therapy, a shooting facility, pizza area, and pub. The place is tidy and well cared for, including the very clean washrooms, and the food is clean and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a calm place to take a break while visiting Polonnaruwa, Minneriya, or nearby spots, and worth a stop.

There’s lots of space to sit comfortably, and the washrooms are kept in good condition. Run by the military forces, the place also has a supermarket and cafe. Handy for stopping to rest before heading back on the road.

We only stopped for tea, but the friendly military personnel were a pleasant surprise 🙂. The shop was neatly organized and everything looked extremely clean. A nice spot to visit and meet local military people.

The pool was clear, clean, and obviously looked after well, and the whole visit felt peaceful. It’s a beautiful place to relax, with a hygienic setup and a thoughtfully laid out pool area and amenities. A lovely swimming spot if you want some quiet time ❤️💯

We had a wonderful stay and were well cared for, including by the officer in charge. Hats off to the Commandant School of Artillery and the Sri Lankan Army for the high standards and hospitality. There are all the facilities you need, and it’s near important tourist landmarks. Tourists can book online.
