Clove Transit Hotel by OYO Rooms

The restaurant food and drinks are delicious and very reasonably priced, though the wait to get food can be frustrating. The rest of the service was fine. Clove Transit is a beautiful hotel on Minuwangoda Colombo Road, with comfortable rooms at reasonable rates, a swimming pool and attractive surroundings. It's designed to be child-friendly, and the whole family can eat together. There are also rooms with sublime surroundings for a newlywed honeymoon. Minuwangoda city is about 10 minutes away, and Katunayake Airport is roughly half an hour away, which is convenient for foreign tourists. Parking is available too.

We had such a great time here. The staff are so friendly and the service is really good. It's a lovely private place where we could forget our worries and just be happy. We've enjoyed it so much that it's become our go to spot. 💞

We came back for a second stay, which says a lot about why we'd return. The hotel is just 15 min from the airport, and the rooms and facilities are very clean and comfortable, whether you're starting or ending a holiday. The staff are the best part, some of the friendliest people in Sri Lanka. Lal manages everything and is very kind and helpful. Nimesh is a very talented cook for this region, and the new young guys are really nice and do a good job too. The Owners of the Clove, especially the son, are friendly and helpful as well. Love this place. There's good parking, tasty food, a swimming pool and a gym. The Mixed Nasi Goreng is highly recommended. The food is awesome, though the staff service doesn't feel professional and some don't know how to speak politely to customers.
