It’s now called BELLE. The Wi-Fi was very good, but the room had no hot water, the lights flickered, and there were lots of mosquitoes. Being close to the main road also made it very noisy at night. They charged for drinking water, but nobody told me until checkout, after I’d finished drinking it.

Reshika is the BEST host I’ve ever had! She’s such a dedicated, loving woman, and she makes the best breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean, and the place is really well located, next to a yoga studio and the beach. But the real reason to come is this wonderful lady, who treated us so kindly!

Be careful when booking here. The owner offers a cheaper room and asks you to arrange whale watching through him. The boats he then takes you to are small and, in my view, unsafe. In the end, it feels like you have to go with them or lose your trip and money. Try asking to book without whale watching and see how he reacts 😡😡😡😡😡
