Randon Resort Mirissa

We were there for barely 24 hours, but it was a really pleasant stay, and we're looking forward to returning to Randon Resort when we're next in Mirissa. The area is peaceful, and our spacious room was spotless, with a small balcony and a large, well-lit bathroom. The staircase to the first floor had short, even steps, a thoughtful detail that can make a big difference. Ranjith and Sugath made us feel welcome. They shared great food and sightseeing tips, and even checked in while we were out. The hospitality was wonderful. We stayed one night and had a delightful time.

The owner was very friendly, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and easy to reach from the beach. It’s also convenient for getting to the harbor if you’re going to watch whales and dolphins. I can recommend it to anyone coming to Mirissa.

In one word, perfect! The owner was so nice, and the rooms were beautiful and really clean. The location is great, close to the centre but just far enough away from the noise. I’d definitely recommend this resort.

The manager was genuinely friendly, and when we had to leave late at night, he sent us off with a fruit basket. Breakfast was already paid for the next day, and it was nice that they still packed fruit for the road. It included fruit, bread with butter and jam, scrambled eggs, and tea. They also made the bed, took out the rubbish, and changed the towels a couple of times, which you don't often get at places like this. The room felt modern and uncluttered, with a kettle, cups, glasses, a table, and a safe. It was spacious, clean, and in good condition. The bed was huge and comfortable, the cotton sheets were nice, and the air conditioning worked well. They supplied insect repellent, though there were quite a lot of ants. A little annoying, but manageable. The bathroom had hot water and good pressure. We got to check in a bit early, which helped. The hotel is on a quiet road, about seven minutes from the cafes and ten minutes from the sea. Dogs could be noisy at night, but that's outside the hotel's control. For the price, I'd give it 10/10.
