That “Welcome Home” mat at reception summed up the feeling here. We stayed four days and felt comfortable leaving our things just outside the ground floor door. It seemed safe enough that we could be out all day without worrying, even with the door unlocked. The surroundings were calm, with hardly anyone walking by. It's near the beach and restaurants, but far enough away to be almost completely quiet in the evenings. The place was clean and well kept, and the pool was nicely maintained. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was big and good, and there was free coffee, tea, and water. The room had no fridge, but there was a shared one at reception. The air conditioning worked well, and the pool was clean and nice. Really nice place.

The service was nice, but the rooms were full of mold, with stains on the walls. Some stains were impossible to identify, while others looked like old water damage. The street facing rooms were so noisy that we woke up several times each night. I've stayed in plenty of hotels, hostels, and motels, and I've never been somewhere that felt this loveless. It's a shame, but we won't come back and can't recommend it.

We had a great stay, and the staff were really helpful. The rooms were clean, but the swimming pool was the star of the hotel. The kids had a great time there. Thank you.
