Marina by DAE

We had a pleasant visit with friends, and the water sports made it even more fun. The staff were welcoming, the food was enjoyable, and the service was good. Everything was smoothly coordinated before we arrived, with clear communication. We had a really great time, definitely worth it.

Their sea doos are high quality and well maintained. They also have plenty of locations around the island to choose from. If you’re in Sri Lanka, this is one of the best places for jet skiing in Colombo.

The property is peaceful and clean, with a nice view of Bolgoda Lake. The minor staff are doing a good job. Getting PickMe hires was difficult because the place is quite far from the main road. For our day-out package for 15 people, we paid Rs. 3,850 per head, but the food didn’t meet the price or expectations. The menu had egg rice, chicken devilled, veg chop suey, and soup with bread, but they didn’t refill the bread. The spread was basic. We also had hot milk coffee and cake. The coffee tasted more like hot water than coffee, which was very disappointing, while the cake was okay, nothing special. The Rs. 1,400 fruit platters had only a few small pieces, around 8 pieces each of pineapple and papaya. Nice surroundings, but the food and service need major improvement for what they charge.

We had an exciting day at Marina and were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves. The staff were very accommodating, and we tried some water activities.
