The room was basic, as expected, but the bathroom had been recently fitted and there was a balcony. We could also use the swimming pool, though we ran out of time. For the price, the accommodation itself was fine. The food and service let it down. A coconut roti with honey cost 350r, but came without honey and was dry, while tea was 300r, which felt like a lot. When we asked about WiFi, the owner said we could only use it for 15 minutes because we weren't having lunch or dinner there. That seemed odd when we were paying guests. I'd read mixed reviews and gave the place a chance after a good hotelier recommended it. Food and service weren't so great.

The girl working there was so sweet. She knew I'd just got engaged on Adams Peak, ran to the village, and bought me a doll. I still remember that lovely gesture 😊. The room was basic but okay, and the place was being remodeled, so things were a bit of a mess. Still, it was a nice one-night stay. I'd recommend it for climbing Adams Peak, which you can walk to from there 😃😊. I stayed in 2014 and am only writing this now, but I still remember her. Thank you!

We only stayed one night, and the weather wasn't great. The room felt humid and cold, and it was very small and hot. After a cold day climbing Adams peak, I really needed a nice hot shower, but the water wasn't very hot. The food was okay, though very expensive compared with places near the bus station in the centre. Basic place with okay food.

The hostess was lovely. The rooms were okay, though a bit noisy, and we didn't use the pool because it didn't look clean. The place is close to Adams Peak, but set back far enough from the bus station to avoid the noisy, smelly buses.

It's not especially good for the price. The bus stops right outside the hotel, and they say that's Dalhousie, but I don't think that's true. I suspect they have a deal with the hotel owner. Take the bus another 200-300 meters to Dalhousie for more options, though I didn't check them myself.
