The hotel helped me get my car started after I left the headlights on. They found jumper cables and gave me a hand, and the food was very good. The room itself was great, perched on the hillside, and it's well placed for walking to the Adam's Peak trailhead. The only drawback is the many stairs to reach it, since a mudslide took out the main road. If you're planning to climb the peak, maybe the stairs are a good warm-up.
