I didn’t feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The receptionist was dismissive and impolite, and treated us like we weren’t paying guests. That made the stay uncomfortable right away. We also couldn’t lock the room door from outside, which left us worried about our belongings. The meals were dry and unappetizing, and the cutlery smelled as if it hadn’t been cleaned properly. Dust and fingerprints were visible on the plates too. For what we paid, I expected basic cleanliness and courtesy. The poor hygiene and staff attitude were serious concerns, and I hope management addresses the front desk training and kitchen procedures.

I was very disappointed. The staff member I dealt with spoke to customers in an extremely aggressive way and didn’t know how to address them properly. Respect and professionalism were missing, even though they’re essential to hospitality.

We all had a great time here. The rooms were neat and clean, with a nice view near the seashore. A nice hotel to stay at in Srilanka. 👌👍🙏

The rooms have a lot of problems and don’t meet the standard I expected. The hotel is 20 years old: curtains are off their hooks, doors and windows won’t close, and the AC blows warm air. The remote is fixed behind the TV, so you can’t reach it to change the settings and have to call service. There’s only one plug, behind the bed, so you need to pull the bed forward to use the kettle or charge your phone. On the plus side, the WiFi signal is super strong and all the staff were helpful. Amila from reservations was especially good and got me a Sea View room. Those rooms cost the same as non sea view ones and are assigned first come, first served. Call the day before check-in if you want a sea view room. Good luck!

Our group of 70 enjoyed two days and two nights here. Everything went well, and it’s a nice hotel to stay in Colombo, Srilanka.
