8 Plus Motels

The pool was a real highlight, beautiful and amazing. Our room, bathroom, and kitchen were clean and well looked after, and the staff were kind and helpful. We had a great stay at 8+ Plus Motels Hotel. Highly recommend!

I wouldn't book this place through Booking.com. My reservation was cancelled without a valid reason, and it seemed to me that the owner was trying to use the situation to charge more. I'm very disappointed with the rude, unprofessional response. About the owner's reply: there wasn't even an apology. My wife called before we booked and was told there was availability. That's the only reason I reserved two rooms. One couple traveling with us is Italian. They had personally checked the property and asked me to make the booking, and they were extremely disappointed by what happened. I entered all my card details and waited for confirmation. More than 24 hours later, an email arrived saying the booking had been cancelled. That's completely unprofessional. On the phone, you said, “for that amount we don’t have any rooms,” then hung up. It was rude and unacceptable. If there was a real issue, you should have explained it properly. You spoke as though I'd done something wrong. I had also recommended your place to guests from Australia who are staying there now. They told me the property doesn't look like the photos and that I was lucky not to have booked. I'll never recommend it again. I export products and bring in over USD 100,000 per month in remittance to Sri Lanka. I deal with international and local customers every day and treat everyone with equal respect. That's how business should be done. Please accept the mistake instead of blaming others. Don't treat locals this way. Learn how proper customer service works. Many other Sri Lankan businesses do it much better.

The hotel was stunning, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were so kind and helpful that everything felt easy, and they really made us feel at home. We had an amazing stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

The guava drink they gave us at check-in was delicious, and the property was wonderful and very well maintained. A few bathroom fixtures and windows were damaged and could use some attention. Even with that, it was a great experience.
