I never actually stayed in the room. I booked at the last minute around 10 PM and arrived 20 minutes later. They hadn't seen the booking, so the room wasn't ready; I chose to cancel, though they were still willing to prepare it. After an eight-hour trip I was exhausted and hungry. The people there treated me so generously, serving dinner and coffee and giving me ice cream, all for free. I'm incredibly grateful. Thank you, lovely people. I'll carry your kindness with me for the rest of my life.

The warm welcome here was such a lovely start to Sri Lanka. The family were amazing, and the house was spacious, with a cozy room and the cleanest bathroom we'd had. Breakfast was incredible, and they packed biscuits and juice for my little daughter. They also suggested places to visit, drove us to the bus, and picked us up from the airport in the middle of the night. Highly recommended!

We only got to stay a day, but we'd definitely come back. The family were so welcoming, the house was beautiful and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with a few dishes we hadn't tried anywhere else during our time in Sri Lanka. I booked at the last minute, and the owner was very nice about it, even explaining how to get there sooner from our bus. It's in a quiet suburb a little away from the busy city center, but transport into town is always available.

I felt so welcome here. Sri Lanka is known for its hospitality and friendliness, but this homestay still stood out for its generosity and warmth. Anyone choosing to stay here has made a good decision ;-))
