What stood out most were the hosts, who were so warm, kind, and hospitable. The rooms were clean but basic, so don’t expect luxury. It’s a comfortable place to sleep after a long flight, and they treat you extremely well. The neighbourhood is peaceful, and the location is great, about 15 minutes from the airport towards Negombo. I highly recommend this homestay if you’re in the area.

Really nice host! I stayed just one night. The room was big and comfortable, with one other room, a shared bathroom, and a shared balcony. You enter through the family’s house. I was fine with that, though it might not suit everyone.

We arrived at 5:30 am without a reservation, and this lovely family still found us a room. They cleaned it as soon as we got there, and it had everything we needed for our last night in Sri Lanka. Wishing them all the best!

The hosts were wonderful and gave us helpful suggestions for getting around Negombo. The place is close to the airport, train and Negombo beach, and halal food is nearby too. There aren't any shops close by, though. Our room was clean, as was the bathroom, but the lighting was dim and there was no AC. Negombo's weather is moderate, though it felt a bit stuffy. For what you pay, the services cost about half what other comparable hotels charge. We enjoyed our stay. It comes down to your budget and what you prefer, but if you want to save money and travel on a tight budget, this could suit you.
