The room stayed cool and dark enough for a good night's sleep, thanks to the AC, ceiling fan and double curtains. I stayed one night and found the room and bathroom really comfortable and nice. The shower pressure was good, and the wifi connection was great.

The peaceful, green surroundings were lovely, and the rooms were clean enough and nice, with working A/C in each one. Check-in and check-out were easy. The host also cleared up a confusion for us, which was a relief, and I'm thankful for that. Getting around could be tricky. The hotel is at the end of a narrow alley, and it's a bit hard to get an uber or taxi there. It's about 20-25 minutes from the airport, so we chose not to stay there before our return flight. This wouldn't be an issue if you'd arranged transportation. We were missing some basic amenities, including drinking water, soap and toilet paper. It was our first day in Sri Lanka, and we hadn't been to a market to buy water yet, but when we asked the host for bottled water, he completely ignored us. At the very least, he could have said that providing it wasn't part of his policies. It could have been a great stay if the basics had been supplied.

It was only a short visit, but we had a very good time. The place had what we needed: a comfortable bed, a great shower and a delicious breakfast. Edwin is a lovely host, kind and speaks excellent English. He picked us up from the airport, arranged for us to share a ride with another guest to Dambulla the next day, and gave us great tips for the rest of our trip. Thanks, Edwin!

The rooms were very clean and surrounded by lush greenery. It's very near to the airport, and the host was super friendly and supportive. Amazing place to stay, with fantastic hospitality. A must-stay place.
