It was very hot, but we managed to sleep with the fans. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and Anthony, the owner, was lovely. He arranged a nice boat trip for us and found a car and driver to take us to Kandy the next day. It's very basic but great value. His mum makes good coffee too.

Right on the beach, so the location is great. The room is simple and gets hot, though the fan makes it manageable. Clean bathroom, kind host, and good value for money.

Anthony and his family made me feel at home while I was traveling alone. He's a local Tuktuk driver and can take you around Negombo's nice places, like the Fish Market, for a fair price. He also knows good spots for local food. I tried an ayurveda Treatment and would totally recommend it. You can sit in the beautiful Garden and go straight through to the fishermanbeach to watch the fishermen or swim. There's another nice beach 100m away. Sri Lankan breakfast is available for 3 dollars per day. It's a simple, family place in the fishermannvillage. Anthony welcomes you like family and helps with everything. There are two basic rooms, each with a bed, fan, table, and mosquito net. One has its own bathroom; the other has a bathroom outside, a big window, while the room with the attached bathroom has a small window.

Anthony will look after you, and the rooms are nice, with restaurants just a short walk away. You're staying in a family home in a shanty town beside the beach, so if you want to immerse yourself in Sri Lanka, this is the place.
