The rooms are new and spotless, with a pleasant quiet patio and a separate entrance. The location is handy too, between Main street and the beach, with a juice bar and good local food just a minute away. Jay, the housekeeper, deserves thanks for the clean rooms. But the owner charges extra for just about everything. Breakfast is $10, airport transfer is $25, and checking out four hours late costs $10. It feels more like a five-star hotel pricing setup than a bed and breakfast, especially since linen and towels aren't changed and there's no daily room service. I wonder if the owner's greed is why the place is empty.

The guest house has a lovely, homely feel, and the owner will personally collect you from the airport. It's only about a 20-minute drive from the international airport, right in the center of Negombo. The people here are very helpful and cooperative, and the food is delicious, with Indian food available too. One of the most beautiful guest houses in Negombo, and I'd highly recommend it to tourists.

The area around the place is very nice, and breakfast was good. Inside, though, I found cockroaches in both the room and the toilet. My booking was for a single room with an attached bathroom, but on the first day I was given a shared bathroom instead. The owner also charges double commission for anything beyond the room and board, so don't book a cab or activities through him.

The room was tidy and clean, and the owner was friendly and supportive. It's a family-run business using part of their home, and it works well for a business trip or if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night.
