Miura Dutch Edge Hotel

The hospitality was lovely, and I really enjoyed my stay. It’s a small place, though being close to the fish market means they need to keep an eye on how fresh the rooms smell.

The staff were so sweet and helpful, even buying us a wine opener when we needed one. They also arranged a fairly priced shuttle and took us to find dinner late at night. My friends were staying here, and the owner kindly let the rest of us come hang out during our last two nights together in Sri Lanka. There was plenty of space to sit, talk, and eat, and the rooms were clean and lovely, with comfortable beds, strong AC, great showers, and a mini fridge. The only small downside is the strong fish smell outside because it’s right by the fish market, though we couldn’t smell it in the rooms. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The rooms are spacious, and the beach is only a few steps away. We got a free airport pickup, which made a great start to our Sri Lanka holiday. Mr Anura and his team also arranged onward transport to Kandy at very reasonable rates. We’d love to see a pool added someday to round out the experience. We recommend the place and would definitely come back.

With free airport pickups and drop-offs, this is one of the best Negombo hotels for starting or finishing a Sri Lanka tour. Highly recommend it.
