We really recommend staying here. It’s an easy walk to the beach, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We stayed two nights and were welcomed warmly. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, and so was the bathroom.

The family running this place are very nice, and the price was good. I liked the decor, the shared balcony, and the common indoor area. I arrived without booking and they were able to fit me in. The floors were absolutely clean, as was the shared space inside. My double queen room had a few gaps where mosquitoes could get in, and there were some cobwebs on the vaulted ceiling. That ceiling was the tallest I’ve seen in Sri Lanka so far, about 25 feet, and made the room feel wonderfully open. The wifi was slower than I’m used to, but stayed connected and handled basic streaming. The AC worked great, which matters most to me.

A clean, beautiful place with big rooms and good management. The rooms are worth more, really, but they charge only 1500 to 3500. I’d stay again.
