Sunrise Negombo by Celestial Ceylon

The host was very hard to communicate with and touched me inappropriately. After he showed me the room, I basically had to peel him off me. The bathroom lights didn’t work, and the rooms looked nothing like the photos. I especially wouldn’t recommend this place to a woman.

Kushan was a brilliant host and arranged a wonderful safari at Wilpattu. Sunrise Negombo was in a great spot, an easy walk from the beach and all the restaurants. Our room had both a fan and AC, which was perfect. We had an amazing time here. Thanks for having us, I’d recommend this place 100%!

The location in Negombo was fantastic, just a few steps from the beach and close to great shops and restaurants. The decor was cozy and charming, though the rooms could use some renovation. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much on that front. I loved my first day in Sri Lanka here. My flight arrived around 2 AM, and the owner kindly had my room ready and left the place open for me. That made me feel the property was safe. The owner also went out of their way to help plan the rest of our trip, which we really appreciated. We loved our stay and only wish we could have extended it. Big thanks for the hospitality!

I stayed one night with my boyfriend, and everything was really easy. The host was friendly, checked in days before we arrived to ask if we needed transit or anything else, and arranged our next trip too. Thank you!
