We got there at 5 a.m. and were greeted warmly. The room was just right for a couple of nights, with everything we needed, a cute garden-facing balcony, and really comfortable beds. Everyone we met was super friendly, especially Aruni at reception. It’s a quiet spot but still close to the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants. We’d recommend it to anyone staying in Negombo.

The staff were the best part of my week at Travel Waves Hotel. Prem was especially kind and attentive, always going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. We were there for Sri Lankan New Year, and the hotel put on food and traditional games, which made the stay memorable. The room was spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly in the heat. There’s also a huge pool that gets sun all day.

Prem was always checking that I had what I needed, and the staff were friendly. My room was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the courtyard and pool. You can walk to the main street for shops and restaurants. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Negombo.
