Sea Breeze

I only stayed a night, and I wouldn't recommend the place. The washroom was clean and had good equipment, and the rooms were clean enough too. But most rooms are upstairs under the roof, so they get pretty hot. You can book AC, though it costs almost twice as much, and the fan provided was just a tiny stand fan. The notice board says guests have to clean their own rooms, with a $20 charge if you leave one dirty. I found that pretty funny, and I'd never seen that before.

The owners really made sure we felt comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful the whole time. Sea Breeze Guest House felt safe, peaceful, and homey. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast and could easily get to nearby shops and restaurants. It's a cozy, clean place, just a short walk from the beach. Our family had a lovely stay at Sea Breeze, and we'd happily return and recommend it to people visiting Negombo.

We especially liked the quiet atmosphere and the home-style food. The area is peaceful, with the beach and local restaurants easy to reach. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with good air conditioning and what we needed. The staff were respectful and friendly, always willing to help without hovering. We were here on a retirement trip and had a lovely time. Everything felt clean and well managed, a relaxing, safe-feeling option for older travelers or families visiting Negombo. 🌺

We had Ceylon tea during our one-night stay at Sea Breeze Negombo. The room was clean, and we liked the staff too. The direct rate was competitive. I'd recommend it if you're after a clean private room near the beach.
