The fish was delicious, and the restaurant on site is excellent. This is a simple, charming hotel right on the beach. You can watch local fishermen head out from the beach in front or haul their nets in, which gives you a real feel for local culture. We’d recommend checking out the nearby fish market.

It’s wonderfully quiet, with peaceful beach views and gorgeous sunsets. The simple rooms have fans instead of A/C and open straight onto the beachfront. It’s ridiculously cheap for what you get, and I’d highly recommend it for a night or two before heading to the airport.

The staff were great, really helpful and flexible, and they helped us a lot when we arrived. The restaurant is also a lovely place for dinner. The hotel is right by the sea and easy to get to from the airport.

Such a lovely beachside stay, with delicious food and service delivered with a big smile. The setting is great, and it’s less busy than Colombo. Treat yourself to a visit!

The owner was so welcoming and helpful, even helping us find the right transport for our next stop and making us feel at home. We loved our stay. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and the food was good too. If you need somewhere in Negombo for 1-2 nights, this is a great choice.
