The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and when heavy traffic from Kandy made us late, the host stayed up to let us in. That was a kind gesture. But the stay wasn’t good overall. They seemed not to care about their guests. There was a private party right outside our room with VERY LOUD music while my husband needed to sleep before his flight. They turned it down after I complained to the host. We reserved two double rooms, but nobody mentioned on the phone that one didn’t have an attached bathroom. They only said it had no AC. My mom had to use the bathroom in our room, which was a big disappointment. Breakfast was cold on the first morning, though they waited for us and prepared it on the second. It was very average. For what we paid, I think we could find somewhere better.

The room and bathroom were really spacious and comfortable, and everything was clean. The host was so friendly and even picked us up from the airport at midnight. It’s a peaceful spot after a long flight, but still close to Negombo beach and town. I stayed for over a month and would recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Negombo.

The food was very good and reasonably priced. We stayed in a large, practical deluxe room with a balcony. The villa has a lovely colonial style, and the place has a small, familiar guesthouse feel.

A quiet street and still close enough to walk to the beach. The hotel looks modern, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Nothing remarkable, but perfectly okay.

The location is ideal if you want somewhere peaceful. It’s a budget hotel, though it didn’t quite meet the mark for me. Breakfast was very limited, and a lot of necessary facilities weren’t available.
