The location is the best thing about this place, with easy beach access and shops and restaurants close by. The room was okay overall, but the bathroom wasn’t clean at all and the bedroom felt a little grimy. The beds were just okay, right at the bottom of what I’d expect. We technically had two beds, but there was only one mosquito net in our non-AC room, so in practice we had to sleep together. We’ve stayed in lots of places around this budget, and this wasn’t the cheapest. Apart from one other, it was the worst.

The individual chalets gave the resort a homey feel, and the whole place was charming. We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were a delight and gave superb service, the room was lovely and extremely clean, and the location was fabulous. It’s the best place we’ve stayed so far, and we’ll definitely come back in the future.

The villa is close to the beach, and we had a good time there. It was very clean and quiet, and the price was average. The owner was nice and supported us with everything, like family. We’re ready to go again.

We booked the budget double for two nights and found it good value. The beach is a two-minute walk away. The family were lovely, and breakfast was very good value compared with the local options. Wi-Fi was fast when we were near the main house, among the fastest we’d had in Sri Lanka.

There are seats just outside the room where you can take in the beautiful garden. The beach is a two-minute walk away, and the host was very nice. Highly recommended.
