We booked the whole villa for the day, with the booking made 14 days ahead. Our stay ran from the 12th to the 13th. When we arrived on time, the previous guests still hadn't checked out, and the staff struggled to get them to leave. They finally did, about an hour and a half after we arrived. The staff gave us more than two extra hours the next day and didn't complain about it. I was in touch with Arul. There was plenty of space for around 45 people, with AC and non-AC rooms, a separate kitchen, a clean pool with a baby pool, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. The staff treated us well and were helpful. The surroundings were calm, there's a mosque within walking distance, and parking was spacious. There were trees, though I couldn't find any fruit, maybe because it wasn't the season. The villa is about 600 meters from Nilaveli Beach.

I could book at short notice, and the service was great. The location is nice and close to the beach, and room service was prompt and good.

We came to the restaurant hoping for rice and curry, and the meal was one of the best we had. The curry tasted authentic, with amazing flavours. We had two vegetable curries, fried fish, and onion sambol, all delicious. The staff were lovely, talked with us a bit about the crisis, and checked that we were happy with everything. The price was very reasonable. We'd love to come back.

I stopped in just to eat. The veg rice and curry was 500, and one of the best I've had in two months in Sri Lanka. Lovely people, relaxing place. Highly recommend :)

A good budget hotel if you don't need hot water or air conditioning. My room was clean and had a good ceiling fan. Breakfast was tasty but very basic, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
