We were beginners with no diving experience, and none of us could swim, but Ashane's team were patient, kind, and very professional. They made sure we were safe and took more than three hours so we could see as much as possible underwater. The hotel has its own diving team and boats, and the experience was incredible with very reasonable prices. The team looked after us brilliantly. Rooms were clean and comfortable with AC, and the tasty food can be ordered.

I was looking for somewhere safe and calm for my east coast trip as a solo traveler, and found this peaceful place with a vast, lovely garden overlooking a lagoon. It was one of the most tranquil places I've visited, with no crowds, bustle, or noise. The rooms were comfortable and clean, Wi-Fi was free, and it was very budget friendly. The staff were friendly and helped me explore hidden areas around Trincomalee. Special thanks to Mr.Marvin, the resort's person in charge, who arranged boat and city tours with trustworthy people. He's also a diving master and helped build my knowledge of the sea. If you dive with him, I'm sure he'll give you a great sea experience. The seafood made my stay extra special. I had freshly harvested lagoon crabs, prawns, and lobsters during my stay. Thanks for the hospitality. I'm looking forward to coming back for a second stay.

I booked because of the price, but the lagoon view was what won me over. Waking up with that serene view right outside my window felt unreal. The room was basic and clean, with the essentials: a comfortable bed and working AC. The bathroom was big, though the towels could use an upgrade. Nothing deal-breaking. Great value if you just need somewhere to crash without frills.

Kumpurupitti beach was a few hundred meters away, clean, safe, shallow, and much less crowded than Nilaveli beach. You can walk almost 500 meters into the sea without drowning, which makes it a lovely spot for a peaceful beach visit. Pigeon Island tours, diving, and other activities can be arranged, though we didn't try any this time and hope to next time. The hotel's price is comparatively low for the area, so it feels well worth the money. We stayed one night and found the hotel peaceful and relaxing, in a quiet area with a beautiful bay view. I don't know the bay's name. The room and toilet were both clean, the room was comfortable, the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff treated us very well. It's easy to find from the Trincomalee side: turn left onto the first road just after Pudawaikkattu bridge, then left again onto the first small local road. The hotel is about 100 meters from there, with enough parking. We had a very good stay and are definitely planning to visit again.
