The rooms were absolutely filthy in an exceptionally old building. Mold covered large areas of the walls, and constant water leaks made the stay uncomfortable. A very disappointing experience.

The rice and curry was fresh and satisfying, and the three curries made a good breakfast. We came with friends while staying in Nuwara Eliya, and the friendly service was quick with hardly any wait. The washrooms and hand-washing area need attention, though. Four stars for the food and service, with room to improve the hygiene facilities.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Nuwara Eliya, at Cool Feel Rest in Seetha Eliya, right by the main road. The meal came quickly and was delicious and well cooked. The dining room and tables were comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed eating there. They also offer rooms. Definitely recommend it!

The meal itself was good, but the service was a letdown. We arrived for breakfast around 10 AM and waited more than 30 minutes for a basic rice and curry. They explained the curries were still cooking so the food would be hot, but when it arrived, it wasn't hot at all. Service felt unprofessional and poorly organized, and they still added a service fee.
