I ate here three times, and each day the curries were different. The vegetarian rice and curry was 450 rp for all you can eat, and it’s the best I’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. Definitely recommend it!

The food was so good that I came back the next night, then again for breakfast. It’s the tastiest Sri Lankan food I’ve had so far, with lots of variety, and the service was impeccable. I didn’t stay here, just ate at the restaurant.

The entrance to Cool Land Hot Hut looks small and cozy, but inside it felt warm, welcoming, and full of character. I loved the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was fresh, delicious, and had that homemade taste that suited the chilly Nuwara Eliya weather. A lovely place for a local meal while you're in town. 🙌🍛

We ended up eating here at least four times during our stay in Nuwara Eliya. The food was so good, and the prices were surprisingly affordable: a buffet was 400 rupees, and chicken curry was 200 rupees. There was a wide choice of meat curries, all affordable too. One of the finest hotels we found on our Sri Lanka trip. Go for a hearty meal!
