Green Garden Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Green Garden Hotel Nuwara Eliya. The calm setting made for a relaxing visit, and our room was tidy, clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff, especially the owner, were friendly and helpful, and the meals were great.

We were visiting from New Zealand and stayed for two days in February 2026. The rooms were tidy, and the room service, hospitality, and food quality were excellent. The staff were friendly, and we were comfortable throughout. It was worth the money.

I stayed at Greed Garden Hotel for a day and used the parking without any trouble until a new customer arrived. Then staff asked me to move my car to make room for them. The parking area was already full, so I had to leave it at another property. It was a real hassle late at night, especially with my driver asleep. I had to wake him and arrange to move the car. Staff said they had arranged parking at another hotel, but that still meant an existing guest had to give up the parking allocated to them. It felt unfair and unprofessional to prioritize someone new that way. Managing the parking should be the hotel’s responsibility, and this left me with a very poor impression. I wouldn’t recommend it if basic consideration and service matter to you.

We’ve been visiting Green Garden Hotel, Nuwara Eliya since childhood, and it still feels like a second home after all these years. The managers and staff are kind, welcoming, and ready to help with a smile. They make you feel like family, which makes each stay special. The hotel has new amenities too. We were pleased to find brand-new, clean bathrooms that are well maintained and give the place a fresh, modern feel while keeping its charm. Highly recommend it for a comfortable stay and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality in the heart of Nuwara Eliya. We’ll keep coming back.
