The beautiful view was my favorite part, and the hotel was such a peaceful place to unwind. We also had fun with friends, especially during the BBQ night with Uncle, who looked after us. He cooked delicious meals and even brought bed tea in the morning. The facilities were excellent, and the customer service was superb. Highly recommend! 😍❤️💫

We spent two days here with friends, and the view was breathtaking. The caretakers were disciplined, flexible, friendly, and very helpful, and they served us delicious food. The owner kept an eye on the quality of our stay the whole time. With the calm surroundings, it was an easy place to relax and enjoy ourselves. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The freshly made food was the best part of my stay. The chef was friendly and looked after us well. The villa itself was beautiful, with windows bringing in natural light and views, though the view can get misty at times. The rooms and washrooms were okay. Wi-Fi is available, but it didn’t work well.

Shan, the caretaker, was friendly and helpful, and cooked delicious meals with the ingredients we brought. He also arranged a BBQ, which we really enjoyed. The cottages were clean and well looked after, with hot water, free Wi-Fi, and a 42” LED TV with international channels. Heaters are available for an extra charge, useful in Nuwara Eliya’s cool weather. Set in Meepilimana, Nuwara Eliya, Lakeside Cottages have a lovely Scottish-style design with rustic wooden interiors. From our cottage we had a beautiful view of Meepilimana Lake and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s a scenic, relaxing getaway with good service and fair prices, and one of the best cottage stays in Nuwara Eliya. Highly recommended.

Every meal the chef made was full of flavor and beautifully prepared, a real highlight for us. Mount Lake Inn also had lovely views, a peaceful atmosphere, and warm service. It exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend it for a memorable getaway.
