0 HOTEL The way guests were treated made this the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. Staff yelled at us and were rude and disrespectful. Whenever we asked about a charge or brought up a problem, they got aggressive and blamed us instead of helping. There were extra charges for what seemed like everything, including basics that should have been included or explained beforehand. We were charged for towels and brushes, and even for heating bread. It felt like they were always looking for another way to get money from us. When we questioned the fees, the staff became even more hostile. There was no courtesy or professionalism. I was also concerned that alcohol was being served on 31st May, even though it was a dry day. It left me wondering whether the hotel follows the rules. The whole experience was stressful and disappointing. I’d advise people to stay elsewhere, somewhere guests are treated with basic respect.

We only came for lunch, not an overnight stay. The local buffet was a very good combination, and the dishes went well together. The restaurant staff paid close attention to us. There wasn’t any scenery to enjoy from the restaurant or bar, though the rooms might have a better view.

I had a relaxing solo visit to Heaven Seven Nuwara Eliya. My room was comfortable and looked after well, and the views were lovely. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and it was a handy spot for Gregory Lake and other nearby places. Good service and value, I’d stay again.

Ms. Nipuni deserves a special mention for her warm service. The staff were courteous, the arrangements were all in order, and the hotel had a lovely, relaxing feel. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

Gregory Lake and the town center were both easy to reach on foot, which made sightseeing convenient. The hotel was peaceful, with beautiful views over the hills and greenery. I was traveling alone and felt safe and well looked after throughout. My room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, including dependable hot water and a cozy bed after a day out. The staff were friendly and happy to help with transport, suggestions for places to visit, or a quick check that I was comfortable. That hospitality made the stay feel special. I also enjoyed the food, especially the fresh, satisfying breakfast. I’d happily choose Heaven Seven again and recommend it to other solo travelers visiting Nuwara Eliya.
