Sky Breeze Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka

The surrounding mountains make for spectacular scenery from this beautiful hilltop house. It was designed with no expense spared and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, pantry, and small living room. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend it.

Kasun's cooking and warm hospitality made our stay special, and the cozy rooms paired beautifully with the breathtaking views. Skybreez Nuwara Eliya is a true gem. The cool weather feels like living in the clouds. Highly recommend it for a memorable getaway.

There was everything we needed, including an iron, hairdryer, tea strainers, heaters, and hot water. The cutlery and dishes were lovely, and fresh flowers sat in the vases. Mr.kasun, the caretaker, was pleasant and very helpful. We loved the peaceful location, hospitality, and cozy atmosphere. The sleeping setup works well for a family: two double bedrooms, one with a bunk bed, plus an upstairs bed with a sofa bed, where one couple could stay. We had a nice BBQ, and the cozy firplace was lovely for singing and relaxing. We were very satisfied with the stay.

The approach road is the main difficulty. A 22-seater mini bus will find it very hard to get up to the bungalow, while a car or van should manage more easily. If that isn't an issue, go for it. The bungalow sits at the mountain's highest point, is tastefully furnished, and suits a group of up to six. There are just two bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. The climate is excellent, and you can see mist outside. The caretaker, Indica, was enthusiastic and quick to meet even our smallest needs, and the cook, whose name I don't know, made excellent food at reasonable prices. Five stars for Mr. Indica.
